© And God Said…
Early one morning I witnessed the fight of my life
Right side against left side, full of anger and strife
Left side had a point of fashioning fresh highs
While right side was happy with habits and lies
So they quarreled until I tossed them to the floor
Their bothers and battles, dang I refused anymore
I told them if they wanted to remain sheltered to me
They’d need to keep balance by agreeing to disagree
It took them a moment but they did come to terms
Stated clearly I’m to suffer thru their mental germs
Perturbed by their stance, I forthrightly asked
What mutiny dare thee imaginable me to flask
Screaming they did, constructing me to perceive
My own mind of discourse that chose to deceive
Further showing the free spirit within my heart
Splits, causing its own course of action to start
Giggling up bites of timber; knocking three times on wood
For surely they were both right as right side left side should
The moral I learnt that day: the way of free will
Best example of character a basis’ to heal or kill
From that day on, I’ve been vigilant and can clearly see
How to keep my mind in quiet, and be with the humility
Thanks to Right Side and Left Side, the Dear God in Me
